I sold a home in two weeks. Two years later, the market had gone up about 7% or more. That same home should have sold for more the second time around, right?

It didn’t.

Two other brokerages tried for over six months and ended up selling it for 6.5% less than what I got for it two years earlier. Let that sink in. The market appreciated more than 7% in those two years.

That means this home should have sold for significantly more the second time. Instead, after two brokerages and over six months on the market, it sold for less. Not just a little less. 6.5% less than what we sold it for when the market was lower.
